After a really long hiatus, I am finally getting back to writing. Kick-starting this season with my India series from when I visited last November! India is not a country that can be fully covered in one trip (unless that trip is like a yearlong). Each part of the country has its own language, culture and history. When traveling to India, you just have to pick one area of focus and plan a trip around it.
My 6 day trip to the northern part was focused around the ‘Golden Triangle’ – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The Golden Triangle is almost like a crash course on the Mughal rule in India which was established from early 1500s to mid-1800s. Other than the historical significance, this era is also recognized for introducing the Persian style of architecture in Northern India. There were tons of beautiful buildings built around that time.
Palaces, tombs, mosques and forts, the sheer number of sites to visit can be a little overwhelming. So here’s a quick break-down on the highlights and recommendations of what to see.
Day 1 & 2: Jaipur
Day 5 & 6: Delhi (Coming Soon)
